Abstract

PURPOSE: Title film that is obtained by making an olefinic resin composition containing oxide complex including a silica with a specific refractive index into films, thus having both high transparency of parallel rays and heat-insulating properties.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. of an olefinic resin is combined with (B) 2W20 parts of an oxide complex consisting of SiO2 and oxides of metals belonging to group II, III (Al is excluded) and IV, such as titanium silicate of the formula wherein the ratio of the refractive index of component A nA to that of component B nB ranges from 0.99W1.02. The resulting composition is made into films. The component A is preferably less than 0.935 in density such as lowe-density polyethylene or ethylene-α-olefin copolymer and component B is preferably an oxide complex gel hydrate, which increases heat-insulating property and reduces dew-forming property although it causes a little difficulty in processing.
