Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify structure without using a pump, etc. by encasing a heater, a charge electrode, a collector electrode and a cooling device into a sealed casing to which a fluid circulating flow path containing a rising flow path and a falling flow path is formed. CONSTITUTION:The heater 2 heated by waste gas, etc. having a high temperature and the cooling device 10 cooled by cooling water are mounted into the sealed casing 1 incorporating the rising flow path 1A and the falling flow path 1B while an inlet electrode 6 and the charge electrode 7 are set up at the lower end of the rising flow path 1A and the collector electrode 8 at an upper position. Consequently, a working fluid such as Freon is collected in the bottom of the casing 1 as a liquid, and heated by means of the heater 2 and evaporated, a mist flow is realized, and the fluid receives charges and rises. Accordingly, thermal energy is extracted as electric energy from the collector electrode 8 and can be supplied to load 9, and structure can be simplified extremely.
