Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely get over the first cutback in the mixed firing boiler by a method wherein the specified fuel among a plurality of kind of fuels is selected, adjusted and supplied at the time when the first cutback occurs. CONSTITUTION:A large number of burners 1, each of which is equipped with a burner inlet valve 2 for fuel A and a burner inlet valve 3 for fuel B, are arranged at intervals. A shut-off valve 4 for fuel A and a flow control valve 6 for fuel A are provided in a supply piping 15 for fuel A, while a shut-off valve 5 for fuel B and a flow control valve 7 for fuel B are provided in a supply piping 16 for fuel B. When the first cutback occurs, other fuel supply system than the system, through which more fuel is supplied than through the other system, is shut-off and the quantity of fuel supply through the selectively remaining fuel supply system is adjusted so as to be able to meet the heat input value required at the first cutback.
