Abstract

PURPOSE:To find out previously defaults of a subscriber's circuit of a subscriber's time division switchboard and a subscriber's individual hardware connected to the switchboard by forming pseudo outgoing status from the subscriber's circuit and connecting the outgoing status automatically. CONSTITUTION:A test command is transmitted from a typewriter TTY to a central control equipment CC. When a pass between the 1st subscriber's circuit LC and a test circuit LALT is closed, the circuit LALT tries to make the subscriber's circuit LC generate pseudo outgoing. When detecting a dial tone from the switchboard, the circuit LALT sends a number assigned to a terminal in the time division switch NW accommodation side automatically. The switchboard connects its channel in accordance with the number and the circuit LALT tests the channel in both the upper and lower directions. When a tested result is reported to the equipment CC, the equipment CC starts the same procedure to the succeeding subscriber's circuit.
