Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the subscriber circuit test with a simple constitution by carrying out various types of tests such as the insulation test of the line or the like by connecting the subscriber side to the subscriber line automatic test unit and then sending the dial tone and its intermitted tone to the subscriber side in the case of the good and defective test results respectively. CONSTITUTION:Subscriber SUB side has the off-hook, the originating signal is connected to originating register trunk ORT via the route (1) of talking circuit network NW and then to testing tone trunk LTTNT via dialing of the special number. Here the subscriber SUB side has the off-hook when hearing the dial tone of trunk LTTNT showing the test start state, and thus subscriber SUB is connected to subscriber line automatic test unit ALTE via route (3). Thus various types of tests including the insulation test of the line and the like are carried out. After the test, the SUB is called out from signal tone trunk RGT, and the normal dial tone and its intermitted tone are sent to the subscriber in the case of the good and defective test results respectively. Thus the subscriber circuit test is possible with a simple constitution.
