Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of connectors which are required for transfer of the figure information, by putting together both the register means to receive the dial information of the extension telephone set and the sender means to send the dial information to the relevant public telephone office. CONSTITUTION:After an off-hook of the TEL, the number to catch the TRK plus the number of the telephone to be called are dialed. Receiving a start from the ORS, the MKR closes the ORSMC, selects the idle TRK with reception of the dial information from the ORS, and closes the route 2 in the SW to give a connection between the TEL and the TRK. The ORS calls out the number of the telephone to be called which is dialed through the TEL out of the register means, and the sender means sends this number to the relevant public telephone office via the routes 1 and 2 pluse the TRK. The ORS is released after transmission of all digits of the number, and also the route 1 is released. As a result, the ORSM suffices with those which are just required for the transfer of the number information to catch the TRK, thus decreasing greatly the number of connectors.
