PURPOSE: To utilize the digesting gas left in a digesting tank effectively by providing a measuring device for the flow rate of the sludge to be flowed into said tank, a measuring device for sludge temp., a digesting gas storage tank, a digesting gas combustion boiler, and an arithmetic controller for the amt. of the digesting gas to be supplied.
CONSTITUTION: The digesting gas produced in a digesting tank 1 is captured in a gas tank 6 with a compressor 5 via a desulfurizer 4. The digesting gas is supplied from the tank 6 to a boiler 8 via a gas supply valve 7, whereby it is burned. The produced steam is blown into the tank 1 as shown by broken lines and heats this. If the temp. optimum for the digestion is given from the measured with a measuring device 11 for the flow rate of the charged sludge and the measured value of a temp. measuring device 12, the amt. of the digesting gas necessary for a heating boiler 8 is determined with an arithmetic controller 13. As a result, the valve 7 is opened by the signal of a valve controller 14 and the boiler 8 is operated.
