Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress harmonics generated at saturation, by adding an output drive limit circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a positive input signal is applied to a terminal (a), a current flowing to a transistor (TR)Q6 is decreased and the collector potential of a TRQ5 is increased. The potential at a bootstrap terminal (e) is further increased, because the potential of an output terminal (d) is increased with the conduction of TRs Q10 and Q11 and the potential increase is fed back to a terminal (e) with a bootstrap capacitor C4. Thus, a VCE of TRs Q5 and Q10 can drive a TRQ11 with a sufficient margin. The collector potential of the TRQ5 is increased and the output TRQ11 reaches the saturation, then a TRQ3 is conductive and the collector current of the TRQ5 by-passes to ground and the TRQ11 is not driven further. Thus, no steep output trailing is caused and generation of harmonics is less, because oversaturation is not made. In this case, since the terminal (e) is sufficiently higher in potential than the power supply voltage, a diode D1 is conductive and a bias voltage higher than the power supply voltage by the potential drop of a resistor R4 is given to the base of the TRQ3.
