Abstract

PURPOSE:To evade any effect to be inflicted onto the circuit in the steady-state by providing a Schottky barrier diode (SBD) Tr whose emitter is connected to a base of an SBD Tr for driving an output SBD Tr, whose base is connected to a signal line and whose collector is connected to a high potential power supply terminal. CONSTITUTION:With an input voltage at an L level, transistors(TRs) 6, 7, 10 and 13 are turned off, TRs 11,12 are turned on and an output terminal 2 goes to an H level. With the input voltage changing from an L to an H level, the TRs 6, 10 and 13 are turned on but the maximum value of the base current of the TR 13 is increased. With the output at an L level in the steady-state, since the TR 7 is turned on and the TR 6 is turned off, the TR 6 does not give any effect on the circuit.
