Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure, by constituting a vertical driving source so that both a vertical driving coil and a vertical speed detecting coil are opposed to magnets, and constituting a holizontal driving force by providing a horizontal driving coil and a horizontal speed detecting coil in a horizontal yoke together with magnets.
CONSTITUTION: A tone arm body 1 is supported by an arm base 3 so as to be freely rotatable vertically and horizontally, through a bearing 20, a ring-like member 2a and a bearing 23. The upper end of a lift shaft 4a is fixed to the arm body 1, and its lower end is fixed to a coil holder 4 having vertical and detecting coils 5, 6. The coils 5, 6 are surrounded by a vertical yoke 9 together with magnets 7a, 7b and form a magnetic path. In a horizontal yoke 10 fixed to the arm base 3, horizontal driving and detecting coils 13, 14 fixed to a horizontal holder 12 are provided so as to be opposed to horizontal magnets 11a, 11b. In this way, the arm body 1 is turned horizontal by displacement of the horizontal magnets 11a, 11b, and queues up and down by displacement of the coils 5, 6. In this way, exact positioning and exact operation control are executed.
