Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain buoyance for a rotor by a repulsion produced as the rotor turns by probiding a closed loop coil-provided stator at an intersecting position between the rotor with a permanent magnet arranged on the same circumference and magnetic flux of the permanent magnet.
CONSTITUTION: When a permanent magnet 22 provided on a rotor 21 moves on a closed loop coil 25 at a given speed, a magnetic flux is changed traversally with the closed loop coil 25, whereupon inducing an electric current in the coil 25. Then, a repulsion is exerted on the magnet 22 by a magnetic flux produced by the electric current. Since conical faces 21C, 21D, 23C, and 23D are formed on the rotor 21 and the stator 13, the repulsion exerting on the rotor 21 works vertically on the conical faces 21C and 21D, so that the rotor 21 is magnetically bouyed in the thrust and radial directions.
