Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the core structure having excellent characteristics by providing lamination of an E shaped core wherein notches having a specified shape are provided at the free end of a central leg, and butting and welding the free ends of the E shaped blocks. CONSTITUTION:The E shaped cores 10A and 10B are laminated and welded Laminating beads 16, 16' 17 and 17' are utilized to form a pair of 10A' and 10B' in a block shape, and 10A' and 10B' form a unitary body by a bead 18. Coils 11 and 12 are separately provided around the central leg, and leakage cores 13 and 13' are provided between both coils. The notches 14 and 15 are provided at the free ends of the central leg. The configuration and the size of the notches are determined by the beads yielded by the welding. The beads are sealed in the notches by the arrangement of the notches, and the gaps at the butting parts are reduced to minimum. Therefore the dispersion due to the gaps caused in manufacturing the E-E core structure are eliminated, and the magnetic resistance is increased.
