Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the commutation failure of an inverter device due to a transient overexcitation with a simple structure and an unstable phenomenon by adding the varied component of a DC voltage to the frequency reference voltage of an inverter unit, thereby varying the output frequency. CONSTITUTION:The output of a 3-phase power source 1 is converted into a DC voltage by a thyristor unit 2, is further converted by a thyristor inverter 5 into an AC voltage and is supplied to an induction motor 6. The DC voltage as the output of the unit 2 is differentiated by a differentiating circuit 16. The differentiated signal is added to the frequency reference, and is supplied to a V/F converter 13. The output of the converter 13 is supplied through a counter 14 and an amplifier 15 to the inverter 5.
