Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the hardness in the central part of a steel plate almost the same as the hardness of the surface by dividing the temp. region from the end temp. of the rolling and finishing up to ordinary temp. to two stages, and cooling the steel plate weakly in the fore stage and strongly in the post stage.
