Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the reduction of the supply amount of fuel accompanied by the lowering of the apparent specific weight at the time of high temperature by providing a temperature-responding device to decrease the passage area of an open-air connecting hole at the time of low temperature and increase at the time of high temperature in accordance with the temperature of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A bimetal 16 fixed in an open-air connecting chamber 8 on one end and equipped with a regulator valve 15 on another end to face to a connecting port 9 is provided to construct a temperature connecting port 9 in accordance with the rise of temperature for expanding the passage area between the valve 15 and the port 9. The force to check the displacement of a diaphragm 2 on the basis of the air pressure or negative pressure in the open-air connecting chamber 8 accompanid by the displacement of the movable part of the diaphragm 2 is reduced at the time of high temperature when the connecting port 9 is greater than the time of low temperature, and the changing amount of the capacity of a variable capacity chamber 3 at every time is increased at the time of high temperature. This construction permits to compensate the reduction of the supply amount of fuel accompanid by the lowering of the apparent specific weight at the time of high temperature.
