PURPOSE:To produce an excellent noise prevention effect for a distributor comprising a rotor electrode and peripheral electrodes, by manufacturing the spark discharge section of the rotor electrode as a laminated electrode part and interposing a silicone substance between the layers of the laminated electrode part. CONSTITUTION:A rotor electrode 3 is made of plural thin sheets 3A. Silicone grease 11 is filled between the layers of the rotor electrode 3. Other silicone grease 11 is supplied onto the discharge surface 12 of the electrode 3. Since there is adhesive power between the layers, the silicone grease 11 is kept from flying away due to the centrifugal force of a rotor 5. Because of the presence of the silicone grease 11 between the layers, the wear of the rotor electrode 3 which is caused by discharge heat is low. Since the metal electrode sheets are located on both the sides of the silicone substance 11, the intensity of electric field at the time of application voltage is locally heightened by residual electric charge stored on the dielectric substance at the time of preceding discharge, to raise the temperature of the discharge section 12. For that reason, the number of electrons emitted at the initial stage of discharge is increased, the discharge voltage is lowered and the noise prevention effect is heightened.
