Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the occurence of noisy radio waves by forming at least spark discharge portion of at least one electrode of rotor electtrode and side fixed electrode in distributor with ferrite and by providing a resistor to the rotor electrode. CONSTITUTION:The distributor is provided with the cam shaft 2 interlocking with the crank shaft of internal combustion engine, and the rotor 5 consisting of the rotor electrode 3 to which the insulator 4 is adhered is attached to the cam shaft 2. Also, the distributor cap 10 attached to the housing 1 is provided, having the central terminal 7 fixed at its central part and the plural side fixed electrodes 6 provided fixedly in its circumferential direction. In this case, at least ignition dischrage portion of any one or both of the rotor electrode 3 and the side fixed electrode 6 is made of ferrite and also the resistor 11 is inserted into at least one of the rotor electrode 3 or the side fixed electrode 6, whereby suppressing the occurrence of noisy radio waves.
