Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a local part of high temperature from producing in a flame and to reduce NOx in exhaust gas by providing a flame dividing medium injecting slit nozzle for dividing fuel mist in the central part of the tip of the flame. CONSTITUTION:The flame dividing medium injecting slit nozzle 10 is provided in the central part of the tip 13 of a burner. The slit nozzle 10 is closed at its tip, has slit holes on its side and is cylindrical. The burning flame is divided by flame media, the injecting zone 11 of the flame dividing medium makes a primary combustion of dilute fuel and excessive air, prevents high temperatures from being localized by the cooling effect of flame, while the fuel injecting zone 12 free from injection of the dividing medium makes slow double stage combustion under a state of excessive concentration of fuel. These actions are complicated and reduce the quantity of NOx in the exhaust gas.
