Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a synthetic resin rigid foam heat-insulating material having improved heat insulation, by adding more than specific amount of carbon black to a reactive mixture containing a polyisocyanate compound as an essential component.
CONSTITUTION: A reactive mixture is prepared by dispersing (A) carbon black (preferably the one having an average particle diameter of ≤30 mμ and prepared by channel process) in (B) a polyol preferably having an average hydroxyl value of 350W600, and mixing the dispersion with (C) preferably aromatic polyisocyanate compound (e.g. tolylene diisocyanate) and additives such as catalyst, foaming agent, etc. The objective rigid polyurethane foam can be prepared by casting, foaming and curing the mixture. The amount of the component (A) is ≥0.1pts.wt., preferably 0.2W2pts. per 100pts. of the component forming the synthetic resin.
