Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve frequency characteristics by interlocking and varying a variable attenuating circuit composed of a pin-diode and a frequency compensating circuit composed of a varactor diode. CONSTITUTION:As the positive potential of a direct current applied to an input terminal 3 nears the ground potential, a current flowing through a pin-diode X1 decreases and the pin-diode X1 has higher resistance. Then, the loss at a high frequency due to a load capacitance C0 increases. In this case, a potential, however, applied to a varactor diode X2 drops, so the capacity increases. As a result, a signal sent to an output terminal 2 through the varactor diode X2 and a capacitor C3 increases to compensate the loss at a high frequency.
