Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a low loss widely from the VHF band through the UHF band for a high frequency attenuating circuit, by installing an inductance in series to the PIN diode between the input and output terminals. CONSTITUTION:The circuit contains the input terminal 4 to which the high frequency signal is supplied plus the output terminal 5 to which the high frequency signal is delivered. The terminals 4 and 5 are connected in terms of a high frequency via the 1st PIN diode group 2 and the inductance 8. Furthermore the 2nd PIN diode group 1 is connected in terms of a high frequency between the terminal 4 and the earth along with the 3rd PIN diode group 3 connected between the terminal 5 and the earth, respectively. A low band pass filter is formed with the parasitic capacity produced across the PIN diode that attenuates and passes the above-mentioned high frequencies, the capacities 6 and 7 among the terminals of the PIN diode and the inductance 8, thus, the loss at the high frequency band is reduced.
