PURPOSE:To stabilize the combustion upon driving of the engine and lower the combustion noise and the like by particularly reducing the quantity of suction air in the low load driving region, in accordance with the driving conditions, and further suppressing the supercharge, in the Diesel engine with the supercharger. CONSTITUTION:A suction throttle device A including a throttle valve 2 is provided at the downstream of a suction compressor 20 of the supercharger, and the throttle valve 2 is connected to the load control oever 13 thrugh a rod 21. In the intermediate of the rod 21, a potentiometer 7A is interposed to perform the detection of the load condition. On the other hand, an exhaust bypass passage 22 is formed in an exhaust passage 18 by circulating around an exhaust turbine 19, and a supercharge controller B is provided in the intermediate of the bypass passage 22. The controller B is composed of an exhaust controlling valve 23 and a diaphragm device 4 driving the valve 23. When a control negative pressure becomes less than a predetermined value through the electromagnetic valve 6 to a negative pressure chamber 24, the control valve 23 is opened. The electromagnetic valve 6 is switched and controlled so that the atmospheric pressure is introduced to the chamber 24 upon low load driving by control circuit 26.
