Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the vaporized fuel to be purged in suction passage through the regularly-open second purge passage at the time supercharger pressure is positive e.g. when engine is of high load and the vaporized fuel in adsorption layer of canister can not be purged through the first purge passage by a purge control valve. CONSTITUTION:One end of the first purge passage 20 is connected to outlet space 13 of canister 11 through purge control valve 19, while the other end is connected to suction passage 2a downstream of throttle valve 6. Negative pressure is introduced into negative pressure operation chamber 23 of purge control valve 19 through negative pressure intake 25. One end of the second purge passage 27 is connected to the outlet space 13 of the canister 11 through orifice 28, while the other end is connected to suction passage 2b. When the compressor 5 of turbo supercharger rotates at a high speed the pressure in the suction passage 2a becomes positive, and vaporized fuel is not sucked into the suction passage 2a through the first purge passage 20. But since the suction passage 2b stays in a negative pressure, the vaporized fuel is purged through the second passage 27.
