Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain high responsibility of a fuel metering slide-type spool valve by means that a lever subjected to the resilient stress of a return spring makes an idle-free linkage of a cam attanced to the turnable shaft of an air metering valve with a valve stem at the end of the fuel metering valve to free from idle motion.
CONSTITUTION: An air metering valve 5 provided in the upstream of a throttle valve 3 in an intake air manifold 2 is controlled by a negative pressure actuator 9 operated by suction pressure. In the way of a fuel circuit 8 supplying a fuel injection nozzle 4 with fuel in a fuel tank 6 by a pump 7, is formed a fuel metering valve 18 or a slidable spool valve 26 stored in a valve case having an inlet 19 at one end and outlet 20 at the other end. The fuel metering valve 18 is coincided with the air metering valve 5 by use of a lever 24 in contact with a cam 23 around on the rod 10 of the fuel metering valve 5. The valve stem 22 of the fuel metering valve 18, with its bottom end in contact with one end of the lever 24, is constantly loaded downdards with a return spring 22 to close resiliently.
