Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain optimum air-fuel ratio over a wide operating range for a device to return blow-by gas out of the crankcase into the intake pipe through a flow control valve by providing an auxiliary fuel line on upstream side of a blow-by gas passage of the flow control valve mentioned above. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 2 is provided in a carburetor 1 and its upstream end is connected to the crankcase, while its another end opens just below the throttle valve 3 in the intake pipe 18. A narrowed throat 4 is provided inside the bypass passage 2, and an orifice of a nozzle 5 is located on this throat, extended from the float chamber 8 through an auxiliary fuel line 6 and a fuel throat 7 in the line. A metering needle 12 and a valve seat 13 are provided downstream in the bypass passage 2 with the needle 12 forced upstream with a spring 14, so that these parts form the flow control valve 17. When starting engine, pressure difference between the upside and underside of the needle 12 opens the needle valve 12 to supply fuel through the auxiliary fuel line 6 into the intake pipe 18 together with blow-by gas.
