Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise output of an engine and to save the fuel by sinking the temperature of the suction gas to compressor through utilization of the exhaust heat from the engine or the like, a gas turbine etc. CONSTITUTION:An ejector 8 is driven by a high-pressure vapor of thermomedium produced by exhaust heat from a compressor 1 driving device of an engine 2 etc., and the low-pressure vapor of thermomedium is sucked by this ejector 8, where the evaporation heat is utilized to cool the suction gas to compressor 1. For example, a natural gas introduced through a pipe 15 is sent to a cooling device 11 to perform heat-exchange with a flon liquid sprayed by a spray device 12, where the flon liquid evaporates at the external surface of the pipe. This natural gas cooled by the evaporation heat is introduced into the compressor 1 through a pipe 14. The exhaust gas from the engine 2, on the other hand, is sent to an economizer 5 to let the flon liquid in the pipe generate high- pressure flon vapor. This vapor will drive the ejector 8, attract the low-pressure flow vapor in cooling device 11 and proceed to an air-cooled heat exchanger 10, where the condensed flon liquid is sent back to the economizer 5 and spray device 12 for circulative service.
