Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a loss in gas pressure and enhance the dust-collecting efficiency in the case of removing dusts from a high-temperature high-pressure dust-containing gas coming out from a blast furnace by the moving-bed dust collector, by controlling the dust collection through the comparison between preset optimum operating conditions are actual operating conditions.
CONSTITUTION: When using the exhaust gas from the blast furnace for a turbine or the like after removing the dust therefrom, the gas is passed across the moving bed 3 of a dust-collecting medium to remove the dust therefrom by the medium. In this case, a feed line 6 for the dust-containing gas and a discharge line 7 for a clean gas are provided with gas flowmeters V1, V2, pressure gages P1, P2, thermometers T1, T2 and dust concentration meters D1, D2 respectively, while a discharge device 5 for said medium is provided with a weighing device W for removed medium. The values measured by the measuring means are inputted into a computer 8 and are compared by a comparator 10 to the optimum values preset on a setter 9. According to the difference signals obtained by the comparison, a drive signal is inputted from a command means 11 into a variable motor M which drives a constant-amount removing device for the medium, whereby the descending velocity of the dust-collecting moving bed 3 is automatically controlled at a proper value.
