Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of an oscillator by normally operating in parallel a plurality of inverters and synchronously operating temporarily with a commercial power source when the outputs of the inverters are switched to the commerical power source. CONSTITUTION:Switches 41, 42 are closed at a common bus (a) side in a normally operating state, inverters 1, 2 are operated in parallel with a reference signal from the common bus (a). At this time the pulse of the common bus (a) is always synchronized with the output (D) of a PLLB. When the output of the inverter is switched to a commercial power source side in this state, the switches 41, 42 are first switched to the output (b) side of the PLLB. At this time the inverters 1, 2 are operated synchronously with the output (b) of the PLLB. Accordingly, the output of the inverter and commercial power source is instantaneously switched to supply the power consecutively from the commercial power source to a load.
