Abstract

The thickness of air layer caused between an auxiliary magnetic pole 8 and a magnetic recording medium 1 can be kept constant by producing a force F2 balanced with the pushing-up force F1 by a plate spring 13, allowing to keep the most suited pole distance between the poles 8 and 2.
