Abstract

PURPOSE:To maximize the energy conversion ratio by making the load which acts on a pendulum proportional to the oscillating speed of such pendulum and equal to the wave making resistance by a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A generator 23 is connected to an oridinary power net work and is always rotated at constant speed. The displacement of a hydraulic motor 21 which drives the generator 23 by wave force energy is controlled in proportion to the discharge pressure of a cylinder 10, i.e., the resistance by the cylinder 10 is in proportion to the oscillating angular velocity of a pendulum 7. By driving the cylinder 10 with the pendulum 7 and driving the hydraulic motor 21 with the oil discharged from the cylinder the energy conversion ration can be maximized when such cylinder is driven by the wave force energy.
