Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve locking at the best tuning point even when tuning characteristics have variations, by storing a maximum detected value by detecting the output of a voltage tuning type filter and thus permitting the voltage tuning type filter to tune to the best tuning point. CONSTITUTION:When receiving center frequency data D1, a sawtooth wave generating circuit 3 generates a sawtooth wave centering on its tuning frequenty and applies the wave to a filter driver 2. On the basis of this sawtooth wave, the driver 2 applies a tuning voltage to a voltage tuning type filter 1, and the center frequency of the tuning frequency of the filter 1 is made to fluctuate, thus obtaining an output signal SO. This signal SO is detected by a detecting circuit 4, whose detection output is sent to a peak detecting and storing circuit 5. The circuit 5 stores the output level and tuning voltage of the filter 1 successively and detects the maximum output point of the signal SO to apply the tuning voltage to the filter driver 2. Consequently, the filter 1 is tuned to and locked at the maximum point of the signal SO. When the tuning characteristics vary owing to disturbance, the output of the circuit 5 is supplied to the circuit 3 and the filter driver 2 is driven to achieve tuning.
