Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the temperature compensation of a Bourdon tube type converter, by joining variable end parts of Bourdon tubes of the same kinds symmetrically with respect to a point. CONSTITUTION:One end of a C-shaped measuring Bourdon tube 1 is secured to one end of a connecting member 2 so as to be connected with a communicating hole 3 therein. An inlet 5 for a fluid to be measured, communicating with the communicating hole 3, is opened in a threaded part 4 at the other end of the connecting member 2. To the variable end part of said Bourdon tube 1, the closed-side end part of a temperature-compensating Bourdon tube 10 having the same material and the same configuration as said Bourdon tube 1 is connected so that said two tubes are symmetric with respect to a connecting point C. The other end of the Bourdon tube 10 is secured to a supporter 11 and opened to the atmospheric air. Thereby, the Bourdon tubes 1 and 10 have deviations, opposite to each other, with the change in temperature. Accordingly, the setting error due to the change in temperature can be compensated.
