Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-precision flow measuring instrument of simple constitution, to which dust is prevented from sticking, by arranging a flow sensor in either of shunt passages fixed which have been provided right behind the inflection part of a passage.
CONSTITUTION: Right behind the inflection part of duct 1, etc., its passage is divided into to inside and outside circumferential by-passes 3 and 4 by branch board 2. This passage 3 is provided with rectifier 5, vortex generating body 6, etc., provided with through hole 7 forming a flow sensor for a measurement of the flow rate of air, etc., and consequently since almost all of dust in the air flow flows into passage 4 by inertia of inflection, a simple constitution prevents the dust from sticking, so that a high-precision and long-lifetime flow measuring instrumentation can be obtained.
