CONSTITUTION:A stem 2 is inserted into a mount pin 21 so as to hold a lead 4. At the same time, an exhaust tube 3 is held with an exhaust tube holder 20, and is pulled in the direction indicated by the arrow by means of a restraining spring 23 so that the stem closely touches the mount pin 21. After that, the stem 2 is fused to a neck glass 1 by applying a flame 9 of a burner 8. As a result, since the position of the stem 2 is fixed, a sealed part with an appropriate shape is obtained, and the quality of the seal is increased.
