Abstract

PURPOSE: In a fuel injection controller for a diesel engine, to prevent hunting and overshoot, by using a signal indicative of the state of motive power transmission from the engine, to change the control gain of a servo-circuit and the control constant of a first order lag circuit or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The control gain of a servo-circuit 120 and the control constant of a first order lag circuit or the like are changed by a changeover means including a swtich 122 etc., in accordance with a signal indicative of the state of motive power transmission from an engine. The control gain of the circuit 120 is determined by the gain of an amplifier 121. The control gain of the circuit 120 is equal to the quotient of the division of a feedback resistance by the input resistance of the amplifier 121. For that reason, the switch 122 is open when a transmission is in the neutral position but closed when the transmission is in the state of gear engagement. According to this constitution, the control gain of the circuit 120 is increased to prevent the long-period hunting of idling when the transmission is in the neutral position, but the control gain is decreased when the transmisssion is in the state of gear engagement. This results in preventing overshoot in acceleration and deceleration at which a command is sharply changed.
