Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for cleaning a blanket surface of a printing apparatus using a blanket, and a blanket cleaning apparatus attached in the vicinity of the blanket.
Since a deposit such as an ink component is deposited on the blanket in printing using the blanket, it is required to remove the deposit to maintain the quality of the printed matter.
For this reason, it is necessary to carry out maintenance work for removing the adhering deposit (hereinafter referred to as ink residue) while continuing the printing work or at the end of the printing work. It is necessary to take time and effort to wipe off the work, which causes inconveniences such as reducing the efficiency of the printing work.
In order to automate the work of removing the ink residue, a method of wiping off the ink residue using a nonwoven fabric impregnated with a solvent, a method of removing the ink residue using an adhesive roller or an adhesive film, or rotation A method for removing ink residue by pressing a brush or the like has been devised, and an automatic apparatus has been developed (see Patent Document 1).
However, in the wiping and removing method using the nonwoven fabric, fiber fragments generated from the nonwoven fabric become foreign matters. In the case of an adhesive roller, the adhesive roller or adhesive film peels and removes the adhesive roller due to the peeled ink residue, and the adhesive roller deteriorates. Become. In the scraping removal method using a rotating brush, scratches on the surface of the blanket due to friction of the brush, abrasion, and minute dust of ink residue peeled off by cleaning scatters to the surroundings, which causes a problem.
In the blanket printing method, the blanket with silicon rubber surface etc. remains on the blanket surface every time it is printed, and the ink residue of unnecessary ink components that lost transferability due to volatilization of the solvent component etc. There is a problem that the print quality is adversely affected by peeling off and adhering to the printed matter by an external force received during subsequent printing.
An object of the present invention is to provide a blanket cleaning method or a blanket cleaning apparatus using the method for efficiently removing the ink residue of the ink component on the blanket surface which adversely affects the print quality as described above. Next, a cleaning operation in the cleaning apparatus having the above-described configuration will be described.

Next, a cleaning operation performed after a series of printing operations will be described. The
Next, when the portion of the
As described above, the
The
