Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a composite photoreceptor for electrophotography for two color copies requiring no filters at the image exposure by laminating the specific 1st, 2nd photoconductive layers successively on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The pigments expressed by the formulasI, II, III[A is the formulas IV, V, VI (X is a benzene ring, and indole ring, etc.; Ar1 is a benzene ring, a dibenzofuran ring, etc.; Ar2, Ar3 are benzene rings, etc.; R1, R3 are H, alkyl, phenyl; R2 is alkyl, carboxyl, etc.)]are used as an electric charge generating agent. More specifically, the 1st conductive layer 2 which consists of a (sensitized) Se vapor deposited layer and is sensitive to the colored light transmitted through the 2nd photoconductive layer, and the 2nd photoconductive layer 3 which consists of (1) an electric charge generating layer 31 contained with the above-mentioned pigments and (ii) an electric charge transfer layer 32 contained with an electric charge transfer agent such as poly-N-vinylcarbazole or the like, is sensitive to part of colored light in a visible light region and allows the transmission of the other colored light are laminated on the substrate, whereby the photoreceptor is obtained.
