Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an electrophotographic receptor having selective specitral sensitivity in a visible light wavelength region by using a photoconductive layer laminated with a coloring matter on an amorphous silicon layer. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer consisting of an amorphous silicon layer 2 of about 5-80mu thicknesses by a glow discharge vapor deposition method, and a coloring matter (pigment, dye) layer 3 of about 0.1-10mu by a resistance heating vapor deposition method is formed on a conductive substrate 1, and further an electric insulation layer 4 of a synthetic resin or the like is formed thereon, whereby a photoreceptor 5 is obtained. If, in the above-mentioned photoreceptor, for example, lead phthalocyanine is used as the coloring matter, the green sensitive photoreceptor is obtained and if copper phthalocyanine is used, the blue sensitive photoreceptor is obtained. If rhodamine 6G is used, the red sensitive photoreceptor is obtained.
