Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the title receptor capable of simply performing dichromatic color copy without using a filter by using two photoconductive layers having different photosensitive regions in the visible light region and by making the first and second layer of specified layers.
CONSTITUTION: First photoconductive layer 1 composed of Se type layer (charge generating layer) 2 made of Se, Se-Te or the like and charge transferring layer 3, and second photoconductive layer 4 consisting of (thia)pyrylium dye, an electrically insulating polymer having an alkyldenediarylene portion and a triphenylmethane type sensitizer are laminated on electrically conductive substrate 7 to obtain a receptor. Upper layer 4 of this receptor has sensitivity to partial colored light (non- red light) of the visible light region and transmits other colored light (red light). On the other hand, lower layer 1 has sensitivity to red light.
