Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the room temperature and the floor surface temperature at proper values by a method wherein in case a floor heating operation is carried out by flowing a heat medium through a passage arranged under the floor, temperature sensers are provided in the room and an the floor respectively, and the flow of the heat medium is controlled in an ON-OFF mode through either one of signals from the temperature sensers. CONSTITUTION:A floor heating apparatus is constructed by a heating panel 5 placed on the floor of a house 9, a circulation pump 8 for feeding hot water from a boiler 7 to a water passage 51 in the heating panel 5 and a thermovalve 4 for controlling the supply of the hot water to the heating panel 5 in an ON- OFF mode in response to the signals from the temperature controller 1. The temperature controller 1 is so constructed that it closes the thermovalve 4 when either the output of the room temperature senser 22 or that of the floor temperature senser 3 goes higher than a predetermined value. Further, the setting the room temperature is made by a knob 12 while that of the floor temperature is made by a see-saw switch 13. Consequently, the supply of the hot water to the heating panel 5 can be so controlled that the room teperature and the floor temperature are set at their set values, respectively.
