Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible to convey an article to a higher level conveyor, by providing a movable conveyor between the higher level conveyor and a lower level conveyor in such a manner that the movable conveyor can be elevated to the same level as that of the higher level conveyor. CONSTITUTION:The movable conveyor 7 is provided between the higher level conveyor 5 comprising a roller conveyor and the lower level conveyor 6 comprising a roller conveyor. The movable conveyor 7 is supported by an axis 10 on a support table 11 attached to a frame of the higher level conveyor 5, and is swingable by a cylinder 17. When an onject 4 is conveyed on the lower level conveyor 6, the cylinder 17 is operated by a signal from detecting means including a limit switch, etc. Then, the movable conveyor 7 is swung about an axis supporting a hinge 15 so that the rearward end is raised until the movable conveyor 7 is lifted to the same level as that of the higher level conveyor 5. The conveyor 7 is driven through a driven wheel 12 by a driving source 8.
