Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform checking of the flexible container readily and accurately, by acting a pressurizing plate to the container through an o ring, and inserting a pressure medium supplying needle into the container at the center of the o ring in a hermetically sealing way. CONSTITUTION:Water is put into a checking box 1 so that the container to be checked 2 is completely sumberged. Then the container to be checked 2 is accommodated. After the pressure medium supplying needle 5 is inserted in the container to be checked 2, a flow regulating valve 11 is adjusted, a valve 12 is opened, and the pressure medium is sent in the container to be checked 2 so as to apply inner pressre. If there is a defect in the sealing part in the container 2, bubbles are blown out to the water. If there is no ddfect, the pressure is further applied until the sealing part is broken or the container 2 is broken. The presure at this moment is read from a pressure gage 10. Even though the container is deformed on the way of checking, the state of the close contact of the o ring 6 is maintained since the pressure applying plate 4 is deflected by a spring 3, and the pressure medium does not leak to the outside.
