Abstract
PURPOSE:To absorb shock energy by a method wherein a plurality of bags of soft synthetic resin which may easily be collapsed and have water enclosed therein are stored in a hexagonal column container with a water-proof or a water-resisting characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of vinyl bags having water enclosed therein are stored in a container 1 of hexagonal column, and a lid is covered on the container. The lid is provided with an injection hole 2 having such a size as enabling an injection of water at its center part. Vinyl bags are collapsed due to a shock caused by a crash of the automobile, the water is injected out of the bags into an upper space above in the container 1. The water is injected from the injection hole when the shock in high, and a shock energy is absorbed.
