Abstract

PURPOSE:To make easier the recovery of a float type oils absorber after use and also the use of the absorber by a method in which floats are interposed between plate-like oil absorbers and the oil absorbers are connected with one another with a spacing. CONSTITUTION:Spillage oil is absorbed by the upper part of a float type oil absorber on the water surface. The upper part of the float type oil absorber, when absorbing the spillage oil, becomes heavier and then turned downward, whereas the lower part holding no oil of the float type oil absorber is turned upwards to absorb oil floating on the water surface. Thus, the spillage oil can be absorbed by the whole of the plate oil absorber 1.
