Abstract

PURPOSE:To beautify the inside of a car and improve the safety of a driver and the easiness of window glass mounting by fastening a rubber trim member on the window glass edge section and forming a bonder outflow preventive dam section and an inner panel flange coating fin section on the trim member. CONSTITUTION:A trim member 5 is bonded on the edge section 4a of a window glass 4 and a jig 9 is fit in the trim member 5. A fin section 5b is pushed with fingers, inverted, and engaged in the edge section 9a of the jig 9. Bonder 6 is applied on the window glass 4 and the fin section is mounted on a window frame section 3. As a result, the bonder 6 is inserted between a flange section 1a and the window glass 4 and its outflow is checked by a dam section 5a. After the bonder 6 is cured, the jig 9 is removed and the fin section 5b is located so as to cover the flange 2a of an inner panel 2. As a result, since the bonder is prevented from flowing out and the flange is concealed from the fin section 5b, the inside of a car is beautified and the mounting of a window glass is facilitated.
