Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness eliminating disconnection and poor connection by brazing a thermosensitive head with a metalized layer provided on the top of an insulating substrate while a thermistor section is constructed on the undersurface of the substrate to protect the thermistor section and the coated portion of a lead wire with an insulator. CONSTITUTION:In a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of a vessel to be heated in contact with the outer bottom surface thereof, a metalized layer 18 is provided on the top of an insulating substrate 16 in a thermosensitive head 3, which is brazed with the layer as indicated by 19. On the other hand, a thermistor comprising an electrode film 20 and a temperature sensing resistance film 21 made of SiC or the like is provided on the undersurface of the substrate 16 and a brazing surface 23 of a heat resistant metal plate 22 of stainless steel or the like is brazed 24 on the electrode film 20 and a core wire 27 projected from a coated portion 26 of a lead wire 25 is connected to a connection surface 28 of the plate 22 and then, the cutting surface 29 thereof 22 cut into two sections. The surface 29 cut is bent to stake the coated portion 26 of the lead wire 25. The thermistor section 17 (as indicated by the one-dot broken line) is covered with an insulator 31 of silicone resin or the like to protect. Thus, the thermistor section 17 never causes malfunctioning due to dew formation at a low temperature thereby preventing disconnection and the like.
