PURPOSE:To save energy by a method wherein a circulation pump and a change-over valve of the captioned solar heat collector are driven by electrical power supplied from a power source section provided with a solar battery. CONSTITUTION:A circulation pump 3 is always kept in its operation condition so long as the incidence energy onto a solar battery 20 is above a predetermined value and the circulation of a first heat medium (having a temperature T1) through a forward pipe 2 a heat collecting section 1 a return pipe 4 the circulation pump 3 is kept continued. In this case, the first heat medium is heated at the heat collecting section 1 to a temperature higher than the temperature (T2) of a second heat medium so that the first heat medium flows through a heat exchanger 7 and the solar heat is accumulated in th second heat medium in a heat accumulation tank 6.
