Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid elongation and stress in an optical fiber, by fixing an optical fiber meandered along a band holder, and storing it in a pipe. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 1 which is meandered in a specific pitch and width is fixed from both sides with a band shape holder 2 such as sticky plastic tape. This is drawn in an aluminum pipe 3, and a conductor core wires 4 such as aluminum wires or aluminum coated steel wires are twisted around the pipe 3 to obtain an optical fiber composite type overhead line. When the overhead line is elongated with tension, the plastic tape is elongated and the optical fiber becomes in a straight line shape, allowing to almost zero the elongation of the optical fiber and to prevent the increase in the transmission loss.
