Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously measure a conversion rate with a high reliability, by providing the apparatus having an inflow opening of reaction liquid of resin flowing in a reaction vessel, opening for defoaming foams in the resin and detecting part of characteristic value of defoamed liquid of the resin and also, outflow opening returning measured liquid of the resin to the reactor. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing polyester, urea resin, etc. an inflow opening 1, a defoaming opening 2 placed at a suitable distance from the opening 1, a detecting part 4 separated a little from the opening 2 and a measuring apparatus 6 having an outflow opening 5 which returns measured resin from the part 4 to a reactor, are provided in a reactor. A tube 3 attached with pH meter, measuring apparatus of electric conductivity at the tip end in accordance with measuring items, is inserted in the detecting part 4. The resin liquid flows in and out the apparatus 6 by stirring with a stirrer 8 of the reactor. A measuring tube 4 is attached to the detecting part 4 detachably and an exchange is made possible in accordance with the measuingitems. Thus, a reaction rate is continuously measured with a high accuracy not disturbed by foams.
