PURPOSE:To simplify the operation and to avoid a fault which is caused by misoperation, by performing a series of ending processes from the drive stop of an input/output device through the cut-off of a power supply with the operation of a single switch. CONSTITUTION:A switch K is provided to an information processor containing a central processor 1 and an input/output device IO to indicate a series of ending processes from the drive stop of the device IO through the cut-off of a power supply. A drive stop signal is produced from the processor 1 to command the drive stop of the device IO while the switch K is energized. In such a case, the end of the process which is being executed by the information processor is made to wait in response to the drive stopping signal. Then the ending processes are successively carried out for the device IO. Furthermore the power supply of the device IO is cut off after the ending process is over, and finally the power supply of the procssor 1 is cut off.
